RWM is always looking for people to provide child care for younger siblings, particularly at its Lincoln County Sites. The schedule is often irregular, and the pay is $8-$11 per hour. We look for flexible people who love being with children, and are able to care for all ages from newborn to age 4.
For the 2005-2006 year of the program, RWM had to reduce the number of sessions at all participating Head Starts from twelve to six. We are in the process of fundraising for 2006-2007, and are actively seeking our major funding from charitable foundations. We are also in need of local contributions of any amount. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Read With Me Family Literacy Project. We will honor any requests to have your contribution go directly toward sessions at any of the participating sites, or specifically toward books, supplies, or child care expenses.
