ARTICLE
XI - AMENDMENTS
Section 1 - These By Laws may be amended by a majority of those members present at a properly called meeting or by written proxy. A copy of the proposed amendment(s) shall have been mailed to each member at least ten (10) days prior to the date of the meeting at which the proposed amendment(s) is to be acted upon.
Amendment I
Tri-County Literacy Volunteers acknowledge Read With Me as a part of Tri-County Literacy Volunteers’ fiscal responsibility and budget. Therefore all items of Read With Me business relating to fiscal responsibility and the budget must be approved by the Tri-County Literacy Volunteers Board. (need date here)
The provisions under Article VIII under these bylaws shall be applicable.
Amendment II
All new employees to be hired by Read With Me shall be approved by the Tri-County Literacy Volunteers Board of Directors by a majority vote. Any change in salary of present and proposed employees shall also be approved by the Board in the same manner.
