Tri-County Literacy Volunteer Job Description
Title:
Volunteer Administrator
Responsibilities:
● Manage volunteer applications.
● Perform background checks on candidates.
● Enter volunteers hours in a database. Follow up with volunteers to ensure hours are reported and accurate.
Impact:
● Help Tri-County Literacy qualify for grants and other funds.
● Free staff to perform other duties.
Long Term Outcome:
● Improve reporting of tutor and non-tutor volunteer hours.
● Create a more accurate database.
● Keep Tri-County Literacy safe and compliant.
Training and Support:
Training and orientation provided by staff.
Qualifications:
● Basic computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Access or other database program a plus.
● Discretion to work with confidential records.
● Detail oriented
● Good people skills.
Time Commitment:
Estimated 8-10 hours per month.
