Tri-County Literacy Volunteer Job Description

Title:

Staff Evaluator

Responsibilities:

     Review individual staff goals.

     Meet with staff annually to assess progress toward goals.

     Submit report to Board of Directors summarizing performance issues and other recommendations.

     Perform interim ad hoc meetings with staff to adjust goals as necessary.

Impact:

     Help staff receive timely feedback and keep their goals current.

     Improve the performance of staff.

Long Term Outcome:

     Improve job satisfaction of staff.

     Improve literacy services provided by the organization.

Training and Support:

Organizational overview provided by staff and board.

Qualifications:

     Good written and verbal skills.

     Ability to run meetings and work with a diverse group of people.

     Human resources or management experience preferred.

Time Commitment:

Estimated 10 hours per year to meet with staff and present reports to the board.
